Power of a power - exponent law (8th grade/algebra)

The expression (25)3 is a power of a power: 25is a power expression, and that is raised to the power of 3. Using the definition of exponent, we can see this becomes (25)(25)(25) or 215. As a shortcut, we can multiply the exponents.
