An equation vs an expressions; write an expression for a word problem (5th grade math)

Simply put, an equation has an equals sign (=) and then numbers/operations/variables on both sides of it. A math EXPRESSION has numbers, operations, and variables, but NO equals sign.

Then we write a single math expression involving several operations for two real-life situations.
