Problems to solve: area of rectangles (3rd grade math))

In this video lesson, I solve several geometry problems involving the area of rectangles. In the first one, we have a rectangular shape that needs divided into two parts in order to find its area. The second rectangle IS already in several parts, and we find the total area. The last problem asks how much larger is the area of a square with 10 cm sides than the area of a square with 7 cm sides.

The first part of this lesson deals with the units of area.
