Learn about decimal place value up to 6 decimal digits (up to millionths). I show how to write a decimal in expanded form, and then we practice writing decimals as fractions and vice versa. Essentially, the number of decimal digits matches the number of zeros in the power of ten that is the denominator for the fraction. As an example, 0.0514 has four decimal digits, which means the denominator for the corresponding fraction is 10,000 (has four zeros), so it is 514/10,000.
