Equations where you need square root - video lesson

This is a free video lesson where I show how to solve simple equations such as x2 − 4 = 21 where the solution process involves taking a square root. These types of equations arise naturally from using the Pythagorean Theorem, and thus this lesson prepares students for that. The lesson suits best grades 7-8 or pre-algebra.
