Corresponding angles (8th grade math)

Corresponding angles are formed when a transversal cuts (intersects with) two parallel lines. Those angles are on the same side of the transversal, in the same position in relation to the parallel lines. Corresponding angles are congruent (equal). This fact allows us to figure out unknown angles in angle diagrams.
