Even and odd numbers - lesson for 1st or 2nd grade

This is a simple video lesson teaching the concept of even and odd numbers to students in 1st or 2nd grade (or even in kindergarten). First we look at sharing, using a visual model: if you can share a certain number of items EVENLY between two people, the number is EVEN. Otherwise it is odd.

Then I mark all the even numbers on a number chart (from 1 to 50) to see a pretty PATTERN.
