Doubling - find doubles of numbers - easy math lesson for 2nd grade

To find a double of any number, just add it to itself. We practice this process for a bit, using even a visual model to find double of 27 without having to formally regroup.

Next, we fill in a doubles chart. Lastly, we solve word problems and use the doubles chart to help us.
