Volume of prisms and cylinders (7th grade math)

The volume of both prisms and cylinders is calculated with the same formula: The volume is the area of the base times its height. In this video, we calculate first the volume of a right triangular prism, and then the volume of a cylinder.

In the second part, the first problem involves finding the volume of a house. We do that in two parts: the bottom part is a rectangular prism, and the top part is a triangular prism. The second problem has to do with finding the volume of water in a pool.
