Understanding fractions (3rd grade math)

In this video, lesson, we learn how to name and identify fractions, and how to write them. The top number tells us the number of parts we have, and the bottom number tells how many equal parts the whole is divided into. Mathy and I also show you how to draw "pie pictures" — how to divide a circle into two, three, four, five, six, or eight equal parts.
