Mixed numbers with visual models and on a number line (3rd-4th grade math)

Mixed numbers have a whole-number part and a fractional part, and they are easy to illustrate with visual models. Just use a shape you like for one whole, and go from there! We also study how to plot mixed numbers on a number line.
