There are two activities: Median, and Mean & Median. In the first activity (Median), we look at a typical kicking distance when various people kick a soccer ball. After they have all kicked it, you can predict the median by looking at a graph of the soccer balls. You can also sort the data and find the median that way. Then check your guess by asking the script to reveal the median.
In the second activity, you can observe how each additional kick influences the mean and the median. A good way to use the activity is to first predict what happens to the mean and median, then reveal what happened.
