First, I review how to write terminating decimals as fractions. Then we go through two examples of repeating decimals and write those as fractions. The basic idea is to multiply the repeating decimal by some power of ten, next subtract the original decimal from the multiplied version (the repeating parts cancel out in that process), to get a simple equation. Solving that equation gives us then the fraction we want.
